RAILWAY: RAILWAYS TO RUN SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN TATANAGAR & CHHAPRA AND RANCHI & JAYANAGAR FOR DIWALI & CHHAT FESTIVAL

KOLKATA, 13 NOVEMBER 2023:

To clear the extra rush of passengers during the Diwali & Chhat festival, Railways has decided to run two festival special trains between Tatanagar & Chhapra and Ranchi & Jayanagar.

Ø  08181 Tatanagar – Chhapra will leave Tatanagar at 13:20 hrs. on 15.11.2023 & 22.11.2023 to reach Chhapra at 03:00 hrs. on the next day and 08182 Chhapra – Tatanagar special will leave Chhapra at 06:00 hrs. on 16.11.2023 & 23.11.2023 to reach Tatanagar at 20:45 hrs. on the same day.

The train will stop at Jasidih, Madhupur, Jamtara & Asansol stations in both the directions over Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

Ø 08105 Ranchi – Jayanagar special will leave Ranchi at 23:55 hrs. on 18.11.2023 to reach Jayanagar at 15:30 hrs. on the next day and 08106 Jayanagar – Ranchi special will leave Jayanagar at 17:00 hrs. on 19.11.2023 to reach Ranchi at 09:00 hrs. on the next day.

The train will stop at Chittaranjan, Madhupur and Jasidih stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions.

Both the special trains will have general second class, sleeper class & air-conditioned accommodation.

MORE TRAINS FOR DIWALI AND CHHAT:

In an effort to accommodate the surge in passenger demand during the festive season, Railway is pleased to announce the introduction of a special train between Howrah & Gomti Nagar.

05080 Gomti Nagar – Howrah special train will leave Gomti Nagar at 15:55 hrs. on every Thursday between 16.11.2023 & 28.12.2023 (7 trips) to reach Howrah at 15:00 hrs. on the next day. Asansol Departure time of this train will be at 11.10 hrs. on the next day.

05079 Howrah – Gomti Nagar special train will leave Howrah at 16:20 hrs. on every Friday between 17.11.2023 & 29.12.2023 (7 trips) to reach Gomti Nagar at 14:55 hrs. on the next day. Asansol Departure time of this train will be at 19.50 hrs. on the same day.

The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur & Jasidih stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction enroute in both the directions.

The train will have general second class & sleeper class coaches.
