RAILWAY: RAILWAY’S BONANZA FOR HOLI FESTIVAL, THREE MORE HOLI SPECIAL TRAINS

KOLKATA, 7 MARCH 2025:

To clear the expected rush of passengers during the ensuing Holi, Railway has decided to run Three (03) more Holi special trains in different directions. To alleviate this issue and ensure hassle-free travel for passengers, the special train will run between Howrah & Anand Vihar (T) and Santragachi & Darbhanga Jn.  These special trains will offer additional capacity and flexibility to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival period.

03009 Howrah – Anand Vihar Holi Special will leave Howrah at 17:40 hrs on 06.03.2025, 16.03.2025, 20.03.2025 & 24.03.2025 (04 trips) to reach Anand Vihar at 22:30 hrs on the next day and 03010 Anand Vihar – Howrah Holi Special will leave Anand Vihar at 00:30 hrs. on 08.03.2025, 18.03.2025, 22.03.2025 & 26.03.2025 (04 trip) to reach Howrah at 03:00 hrs on the next day. The special train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol stations over Asansol Division of Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute.  The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.

03011 Howrah – Anand Vihar Holi Special will leave Howrah at 17:40 hrs on 07.03.2025, 11.03.2025, 15.03.2025,  19.03.2025 & 23.03.2025 (05 trips) to reach Anand Vihar at 22:30 hrs on the next day and 03012 Anand Vihar – Howrah Holi Special will leave Anand Vihar at 00:30 hrs. on 09.03.2025, 13.03.2025, 17.03.2025, 21.03.2025 & 25.03.2025 (05 trip) to reach Howrah at 03:00 hrs on the next day. The special train will stop at Durgapur & Asansol stations over Asansol Division of Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute.  The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.

02827 Santragachi– Darbhangha Holi Special will leave Santragachi at 07:30 hrs on 12.03.2025 (01 trip) to reach Darbhangha at 19:05 hrs. on the same day and 02828 Darbhanga – Santragachi Holi Special will leave Darbhanga at 20:20 hrs. on 12.03.2025 (01 trip) to reach Santragachi at 09:00 hrs. on the next day(Thursday).

The special train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan ,Madhupur and Jasidih stations over Asansol Division of Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute.  The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.
