KOLKATA, 4 MARCH 2025:
Holi, the festival of colors, embodies the vibrant spirit of unity and joy, celebrated with fervor across India. In keeping with the tradition of bringing communities together, Eastern Railway has decided to run Six (O6) Holi special trains in different directions, catering to the increasing demand of passengers traveling to popular destinations during this festive season as well as catering to the need of the people returning home to unify with family members on this joyous occasion. To alleviate this issue and ensure hassle-free travel for passengers, the special trains will run between Howrah & Raxaul, Sealdah & Gorakhpur, Kolkata & Patna, Kolkata & Jaynagar, Howrah & Khatipura and Howrah & New Jalpaiguri. These special trains will offer additional capacity and flexibility to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival period. More than 22,300 berths and 500 Seats will be generated by running these Holi festival specials.
03043 Howrah – Raxaul Holi Special will leave Howrah at 23:00 hrs on 08.03.2025 (01 trip) to reach Raxaul at 16:10 hrs on the next day and 03044 Raxaul – Howrah Holi Special will leave Raxaul at 17:30 hrs on 09.03.2025 (01 trip) to reach Howrah at 10:45 hrs on the next day. The special train will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi and Bairagania stations in both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.
03045 Howrah – Raxaul Holi Special will leave Howrah at 23:00 hrs on 10.03.2025 & 13.03.2025 (02 trip) to reach Raxaul at 16:10 hrs on the next day and 03046 Raxaul – Howrah Holi Special will leave Raxaul at 17:30 hrs on 11.03.2025 & 14.03.2025 (02 trip) to reach Howrah at 10:45 hrs on the next day. The special train will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi and Bairagania station in both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.
03132 Sealdah – Gorakhpur Holi Special will leave Sealdah at 18:15 hrs. on 08.03.2025, 10.03.2025 & 13.03.2025 (03 trips) to reach Gorakhpur at 10:15 hrs. on the next day and 03133 Gorakhpur – Sealdah Holi Special will leave Gorakhpur at 13:00 hrs. on 09.03.2025, 11.03.2025 & 14.03.2025 (03 trips) to reach Sealdah at 07:30 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur & Jasidih,Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna jn., Patliputra, Chhapra Gramin, Chhapra, Siwan and Deoria Sadar stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.
03135 Kolkata –Patna Holi special will leave Kolkata at 23:50 hrs. on 11.03.2025 (01 trip) to reach Patna at 10:45 hrs. on the next day and 03136 Patna – Kolkata Holi special will leave Patna at 12:00 hrs. on 12.03.2025 (01 trip) to reach Kolkata at 23:45 hrs. on the same day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur and Patna Saheb stations in both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.
03187 Kolkata – Jaynagar Holi special will leave Kolkata at 23:55 hrs. on 07.03.2025 (01 trip) to reach Jaynagar at 13:50 hrs. on next day and 03188 Jaynagar – Kolkata Holi special will leave Jaynagar at 15:00 hrs. on 08.03.2025 (01 trip) to reach Kolkata at 05:15 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga, and Madhubani stations in both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Second Class Seating, AC- Chair Car, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations.
03007 Howrah – Khatipura Holi Special will leave Howrah at 18:00 hrs. on 09.03.2025 & 16.03.2025 (2 trips) to reach Khatipura at 23:30 hrs. on the next day and 03008 Khatipura – Howrah Holi Special will leave Khatipura at 05:30 hrs. on 11.03.2025 & 18.03.2025 (2 trips) to reach Howrah at 15:15 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Prayagraj, Govindpuri, Etawah ,Fatehabad, Shamshabad Town, Agra Cantt jn., Bharatpur, Bandikui Jn. and Dausa stations in both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned Accommodations.
