RAILWAYS : RAILWAY TO RUN THREE ADDITIONAL ONE WAY SPECIAL TRAINS

KOLKATA, 15 AUGUST 2024:

The increased demand for travel often leads to challenges in securing train tickets. To clear the extra rush of passengers and significant demand for travel during this season, the Railway has decided to run Three (03) One Way Special Trains from Kochuveli to Patna, Tirunelveli to Patna and Madurai to Muzaffarpur.

06111 Kochuveli – Patna One Way Special will leave Kochuveli at 19:00 hrs. on 18.08.2024 (Sunday) to reach Patna at 05:45 hrs. on the 4^th day (Wednesday) on 21.08.2024. The train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur & Jasidih stations enroute over Asansol Division of Eastern Railway. The special train will have Sleeper class and General Second Class Sitting accommodation.

06112 Tirunelveli – Patna One Way Special will leave Tirunelveli at 21:45 hrs. on 17.08.2024 (Saturday) to reach Patna at 05:45 hrs. on the 4^th day (Tuesday) on 20.08.2024. The train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur & Jasidih stations enroute over Asansol Division of Eastern Railway. The special train will have Air Conditioned, Sleeper class and General Second Class Sitting accommodation.

06114 Madurai – Muzaffarpur One Way Special will leave Madurai at 19:05 hrs. on 18.08.2024 (Sunday) to reach Muzaffarpur at 02:45 hrs. on the 4^th day (Wednesday) on 21.08.2024. The train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur & Jasidih stations enroute over Asansol Division of Eastern Railway. The special train will have Sleeper Class and General Second Class Sitting accommodation.

RAILWAY  TO  INTRODUCE   18119/18120 TATANAGAR – JAYNAGAR – TATANAGAR WEEKLY EXPRESS:

For the convenience of the passengers, the Railway has arranged to run one new weekly train service (18119/18120) between Tatanagar & Jaynagar. This initiative is undertaken to address the additional passenger demand and enhance the connectivity between these significant destinations.

18119 Tatanaghar – Jaynagar Weekly Express will leave Tatanagar at 18:50 hrs. on every Friday with effect from 16.08.2024    to reach Jaynagar  at 11:30 hrs. on the next  day and 18120 Jaynagar – Tatanagar Wekly Express  will leave Jaynagar 19:30 hrs. on every Saturday with effect from 17.08.2024 to reach Tatanagar at 11:30 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Chandil, Muri, Kotshila, Rajabera, Dhanbad, Pradhankhunta, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Sakri and Madhubani stations in both direction enroute.

The train will have general second Class, Sleeper Class and Air- conditioned accommodations.
