RECIPE OF THE WEEK: PEANUT AND ALMOND DARBARI KEBAB

(Darbari Kebab is a popular healthy and delicious appetizer cum snack made with Peanut, Almond, Cottage Cheese and few Indian Spices which can be consumed during fasting.)
INGREDIENTS:

  • Roasted Almond
  • Roasted Peanuts
  • Boiled Potato
  • Cottage Cheese
  • Sendha Salt
  • Chopped Ginger
  • Jeera Powder
  • Chopped Coriander
  • Singhada Atta

METHOD:

Step 1:

To make this yummy kebab recipe, chopped Nuts green and kept aside. Heat two tablespoons of ghee in a wok and once the ghee is sufficiently hot, add the cumin seeds.

Step 2:

Once the cumin seeds start to splutter, add Ginger along with Nuts, Cottage Cheese, Boiled Potato, Singhada Atta And salt and sauté over medium flame till getting the brown color. It will take about five minutes. Once done, remove from the gas and let it cool.

Step 3:

Divide this Nuts dough into portions and shape them into oval shape, and then flatten them. Heat enough ghee in a heavy-bottomed frying pan to form a thin layer.

Step 4:

Fry the flattened kebabs in the hot oil over low flame, turning in between till crisp and brown. Darbari kebab is ready, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with tomato-Ginger sauce and coriander chutney.
