SAUDI ARABIA LIFTS ALL THE COVID-19 ENTRY RESTRICTIONS FOR TOURISTS : OUTBOUND TOUR OPERATORS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA WELCOMES THE MOVE

The Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) has welcomed the move by the Saudi Arabia government to lift all the covid -19 entry restrictions for the tourists.

Saudi Arabia was one of the first countries to close its borders following the emergence of COVID-19. Since then, the government has implemented stringent health and safety protocols at all public venues, including hotels, restaurants, public buildings and offices.

The following steps have given a big relief to travel agents, tour operators and tourists who are planning to visit Saudi Arabia in the upcoming tourism seasons –

•No proof of vaccination or PCR test required for entry

•Red list of countries discontinued

•Quarantine requirement eliminated

•Social distancing requirements lifted for Makkah and Madinah

VISA ON ARRIVAL IN SAUDI ARABIA

In light of the current announcement made by Govt of Saudi Arabia, VISA ON ARRIVAL IN SAUDI ARABIA is now open for passengers who hold a valid tourist or commercial Visa from Schengen, US & UK and hold any nationality of group (B) countries including India.

Requirements:

– The Visa must be examined to be valid. The Visa must have been used at least once and should have an entry stamp of the issuing country.

– If the steps above are fulfilled, the tourist visa can be obtained upon arrival via any of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s borders.
