The office will oversee marketing and media campaigns, organize events, and engage with travel agencies and media outlets. It is anticipated that the office will play a key role in establishing productive partnerships with trade tourism companies and government agencies, thereby increasing tourist flows from Russia to Azerbaijan. Notable participants included Fuad Nagiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rahman Mustafayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation, Dmitry Vakhrukov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Manuylov, Deputy Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, and Emin Agalarov, prominent businessman and President of Agalarov Development.

Our tourism relations have a longstanding tradition, and their growth is driven by the focused attention our heads of state devote to this sector.”

The event underscored the importance of tourism in strengthening relations between the two countries and provided a platform for discussing future cooperation. Attendees took the opportunity to explore additional ways to deepen tourism ties between Russia and Azerbaijan.

Currently, Azerbaijan Airlines and Russian carriers operate flights to various cities across Azerbaijan, ensuring steady air connectivity between the two countries.
