CULTURE : MARWARI COMMUNITY ARE PLAYING AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN SAVING RAJASTHAN’S FOLK SONGS AND MUSIC SAID K.C. MALU

KOLKATA, 6 MARCH 2025:

Mr.  K.C. Malu, founder of Veena Cassette Private Limited and a great personality dedicated to Rajasthan’s folk songs and music, while expressing his feelings on being felicitated by Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, Assistant Director, Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Rajasthan, at Rajasthan Information Center, during his Kolkata stay today, said that the role of Marwari community in saving Rajasthan’s folk songs and music has been commendable.

“I appeal to the migrant Marwari community to contribute to the upliftment of Rajasthani language by promoting the usage of Rajasthani language in their homes and families,”he added.

On this occasion, Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations Department of Rajasthan Government, Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo welcomed Shri K.C. Malu by presenting a Sujas book and literature of Rajasthan Tourism and Rajasthan Foundation’s book Maati Ro Hello on behalf of Rajasthan Government and said that Shri K. Malu is a cultural  heritage for Rajasthan’s folk songs and music, whose work in this field will always be respected and the coming generations will also continue to be inspired and benefited.

On this occasion, Rajasthani singer (Veena Cassette) Mukul Soni along with Neha Chatterjee, Subroto Naskar, Neha Binani, Ajay Banik etc. were also present.
