(Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Organizes MPT Influencer Meet Under Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart)

To promote the unexplored and scenic destinations of Madhya Pradesh and to digitally showcase its tourism potential to the world, an “MPT Influencer Meet” was organized at Hotel Radisson Blu. Social media influencers from Madhya Pradesh as well as other states participated in the event.
Additional Chief Secretary for Tourism, Culture, Home, and Religious Trusts & Endowments and Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Mr. Shiv Shekhar Shukla, stated that tourism in Madhya Pradesh is being promoted while maintaining sensitivity towards the environment. He emphasized that there exists a remarkable balance between tourism and ecology in the state and urged content creators to present this beauty to the world.
Mr. Shukla further added that tourism not only strengthens the economy but also creates employment opportunities. He encouraged creators to travel with heart, keeping all these aspects in mind, and to use their creativity to give these destinations global recognition.
Additional Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Ms. Bidisha Mukherjee, highlighted that Madhya Pradesh is a unique blend of culture, heritage, and nature. She said that the state has preserved its cultural richness—from Chanderi in Pranpur and Maheshwari in Maheshwar to Bagh prints from Dhar—today, global fashion is being drawn towards Madhya Pradesh. She remarked that influencers are not just content creators but the true brand ambassadors of the state.
Renowned actor Mr. Ashok Pathak said that Madhya Pradesh, especially Bhopal and Sehore, now feels like his second home. During the shooting of the Panchayat series, they had never imagined that it would receive such immense love from audiences across India and abroad. He appreciated the cinema-friendly nature of the people of Madhya Pradesh, saying they never faced any difficulties while shooting. He also shared that visiting Baba Mahakal in Ujjain brings him deep spiritual peace, and he wishes to visit Madhya Pradesh again and again.
Influencers Share Their Views in Panel Discussion:
Popular influencer Ms. Swati Mukund said that Madhya Pradesh is truly beautiful and its traditional attire is in a league of its own. Sharing her experience, she mentioned that through Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, she visited Chanderi for the first time in 2023. At Pranpur Craft Village, she witnessed the process of creating these exquisite garments. A few years ago, only 5–6 tourist vehicles used to visit there; now, the number has increased to 80–100. She praised the innovation and efforts of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department.
Wildlife and nature photographer and influencer Mr. Ayush Singh said that everyone loves nature and wishes to see forests and wild animals up close. Madhya Pradesh is one such place where this dream comes true. Recalling his experience, he said that when he first saw a cheetah at Kuno Forest Retreat, it felt like his dream had come true. Earlier, Indians had to travel to African countries to see cheetahs, but due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative, they can now witness them in India itself.
