The Rajasthan Government has taken a significant step towards making the state a preferred national and international filming destination by issuing the proposed Rajasthan Film Tourism Promotion Policy 2025. The policy includes extensive provisions for subsidies, incentives, and ease of doing business, making it more attractive for filmmakers compared to other states.

While releasing the policy, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that Rajasthan’s cultural heritage, desert landscapes, historic forts, palaces, and diverse natural locations are world-class. The new film tourism policy will establish Rajasthan as a filming hub and create new employment and skill-development opportunities for youth.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari stated that along with financial incentives, administrative procedures will be simplified to ensure smooth and effective implementation of the policy.
