Cultural evening was organised for the participants at Shyo Village, Tawang by WASV culture troupe.
Monpa traditional dance, Tibetan dance, Snow lion dance and Yak dance was shown for the entertainment of participants.

About Yak Dance Arunachal Pradesh :
The Buddhists of Arunachal put on yak costumes and yak masks and perform the Yak Dance to honor the yak. The yak promotes wealth and prosperity and receives its due place through the Yak Dance. The dancers are very skilful and can dance on cohesion despite the rough and rocky terrain or they may perform in an arena in front of an audience. Watching this dance would remind you of Chinese dragon dance.
This pantomime dance is one of the famous dances of the Buddhist tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. It tells about the discovery of Yak with the help of magical bird by a family, many hundreds of year ago. The discovery of Yak solved the families’ internal property disputes and provided permanent sources of wealth and prosperity to the entire community.
