Madhya Pradesh Tourism marked its presence at the Tourism Fair in Bhubaneshwar from 22 nd – 24 th September, 2023 with a towering display of its diverse cultural heritage, annual festivals, and the much-awaited relaunch of Jungle Safaris. The state's stall at the fair in Hotel Pal Heights was abuzz with travel industry stakeholders and enthusiasts eager to explore the many captivating experiences Madhya Pradesh has to offer.
Madhya Pradesh, often referred to as the “Heart of Incredible India,” is renowned for its rich history, stunning natural beauty, and vibrant culture. At the Tourism Fair Bhubaneshwar, the state’s tourism authorities left no stone unturned in showcasing their unique offerings to visitors and potential partners.
One of the main highlights of Madhya Pradesh Tourism’s participation was its annual festivals. The state boasts a calendar filled with vibrant celebrations that provide a glimpse into its rich cultural heritage. Visitors at the fair had the opportunity to learn about and immerse themselves in festivals like Khajuraho Dance Festival, Gandhi Sagar Floating Festival, Jalmahotsav among many others. MP is also set to host two new and exciting extravaganzas: Chanderi Festival and Kuno Forest Festival this year. These festivals not only offer a chance to witness captivating performances but also provide an authentic cultural experience.
Furthermore, Madhya Pradesh Tourism announced the relaunch of Jungle Safaris, scheduled to begin on October 1, 2023. This announcement was met with great enthusiasm from attendees and travel professionals alike. The state is home to national parks and wildlife sanctuaries like Kanha Tiger Reserve, Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Panna Tiger Reserve, Pench Tiger Reserve, Satpura Tiger Reserve and Sanjay-Dubri Tiger Reserve offer a unique opportunity to witness the incredible biodiversity of Central India. Jungle Safaris are the perfect way for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers to explore the untouched beauty of Madhya Pradesh’s forests and spot elusive wildlife species.
Visitors to Madhya Pradesh’s stall at the Tourism Fair Bhubaneshwar were treated to immersive experiences through captivating visuals and interactive displays. The stall provided a glimpse of the state’s stunning destinations, including the 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, rich historical landmarks, and the picturesque landscapes that make Madhya Pradesh a must-visit destination.
Mr. Saurabh Pandey from Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, expressed his excitement about the event, saying, “We are delighted to participate in the Tourism Fair Bhubaneshwar and share our unique offerings with travellers and industry professionals.
