Inviting the Rajasthan government to the function being organized at St. Xavier’s School, Panihati on 5 April at Kolkata seems like a step towards strengthening the traditional relationship between Bengal and Rajasthan, says Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo.
Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo.Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations Department, Rajasthan Government, Rajasthan Information Center Kolkata, expressed these sentiments when the delegation of St. Xavier’s Panihati was invited to the Rajasthan Information Center today.
On this occasion, Principal Smt. Anju Banerjee, Mrs. Palas Priya Kundu, Smt. Pragati Fatehsaria, Smt. Sudevi Chatterjee along with Smt. Neha Chatterjee, Mr. Subroto Naskar, Miss. Neha Binani, Mr. Prashant Mandal, Mr. Ajay Banik of the Rajadthan Government information and cultural office in Kolkata were also present.
“ We have extended an invitation to the Rajasthan Government to attend the closing ceremony of our month-long Spring Camp, scheduled to take place on April 5, 2025, at 6:00 pm at St. Xavier’s Institution. This year, our Spring Camp has been themed around Italy and Rajasthan, with the aim of introducing our students to the rich culture and heritage of one Indian state and one foreign country. Rajasthan, with its vibrant history, art, architecture, and cuisine, was an obvious choice for us, and we have been delighted to share its wonders with our students,”said Principal of St. Xaviers School, Panihati, Smt. Anju Banerjee.
“As part of the school celebrations, we would be honored if you could join us for the closing ceremony. We believe that your presence would not only add prestige to the event but also provide our students with a unique opportunity to interact with a representative of rainbow like Rajasthan,” she added.
Furthermore, the school authority have given an invitation to the Rajasthan Tourism department to set up a stall during the event, showcasing the beauty and attractions of resplendent Rajasthan. This would be a wonderful way to promote cultural exchange and understanding between our students of West Bengal and Rajasthan.
