Surango Rajasthan program is the most successful initiative to connect with Rajasthani people and the man behind its inspiration Ghanshyam Shobhasaria is a dedicated true cultural ambassador of Rajasthani culture, says Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, assistant director of Rajasthan Information Centre Kolkata and also information and culture.
Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo is also the face of Rajasthan Government’s informations, art and culture and tourism in Kolkata.
The metro city of Kolkata, is also called the capital of Marwaris, speaking in the “Surango Rajasthan” program organized by Sikar Citizen Council on July 16 in the Divinity Auditorium of the City of Joythis metropolis, said Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo.
“Such events prove to be milestones in safeguarding the Rajasthani culture and I salute the Bhagirath efforts of Ghanshyam ji Shobhasaria, the inspiration for the innovative efforts of Rajasthani art, literature, culture, costumes, tradition and the popular Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Mr. Ashok Gehlot, on behalf of Mr. Dheeraj Srivastava, Commissioner of Rajasthan Foundation, I extend my best wishes to the Sikar Civil Council ,”added Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo.
Mr. Hinglag Dan Ratnoo was present as a special guest in the inaugural session of this program and as a judge of various competitions to be held in this program. Where. Padma Shri Prahlad Rai Agarwal, chairman of Rupa and Company was the chief guest and has shared stage at the time of inauguration of the program by duly lighting the lamp.
Shri Nandlal ji Rungta, Shri Ghanshyam Shobhasaria, Shri Ratan Shah, Shri Banshidhar Sharma, Mrs. Sunita Lohia, Shri Ravi Sikaria and all the office bearers of Sikar Civil Council were present on the stage.
Various competitions were held in this dignified ceremony, in which the Marwari society took part in a big way, it seemed as if the whole of Rajasthan had come down in the Divinity Hall, all the participants were honored with cash rewrads.
Pandit Pukhraj Sharma, the famous Madh singer and Mr. Sukhdev Manganiyar of Bangmer was present with him and along with his team was spreading magical vocal waves. On this occasion, Mr. Ratnoo expressed gratitude for this innovative effort of Mr. Ghanshyam Shobhasaria with Dingal (Rajasthani) with a couplet “Kot Khise Deval Dige, Vrikh Indhan Wahi Jaye, Jas Ra Akhar Jahiyan Jataan Jugaan Na Jaye” .
Members of the Marwari society in Kolkata was present here in the festival of music, colours and food athe auditorium in Sreebhoomi.
