HARIDWAR, 4 FEBRUARY 2025:

As the sacred spirit of the Maha Kumbh reverberates across the land, Pilibhit House, Haridwar – IHCL SeleQtions invites guests to embark on an extraordinary journey of taste and tradition. Through a curated Maha Kumbh-inspired menu and immersive storytelling, the noble house by the Ganges brings the essence of this grand festival alive.

Haridwar, one of the four revered Kumbh Mela destinations, is the inspiration behind “Flavours of the Kumbh,” a specially curated Satvik Maha Thali, and “Rivers of Nectar,” a beverage series paying homage to India’s sacred rivers.

“The Maha Kumbh is more than a festival; it is a spiritual and cultural phenomenon that unites millions in devotion and enlightenment,” says Vikas Nagar, Hotel Manager, Pilibhit House – IHCL SeleQtions. “With this experience, we honour its traditions through flavours that evoke nostalgia, stories that celebrate heritage, and an atmosphere reminiscent of the Kumbh itself.”

Crafted by Chef Rohit Dubey, Flavours of the Kumbh is a tribute to the four sacred cities where the Kumbh is held—Haridwar, Prayagraj, Ujjain, and Nashik. Served in brass and copper thalis, each dish embodies the traditional flavours and culinary heritage of these spiritual hubs.

“All the dishes tell a story—of the land, the people, and the traditions of each Kumbh city,” shares Chef Rohit Dubey, Chef-In-Charge, Pilibhit House – IHCL SeleQtions. “We have meticulously recreated age-old flavours to offer guests not just a meal, but a profound spiritual connection with each bite.”

Accompanied by tulsi-infused Ganga Jal, hand-churned white butter, and a selection of traditional pickles and chutneys, the thali embodies purity and nourishment.

Complementing this feast, the “Rivers of Nectar” beverage series presents handcrafted, non-alcoholic elixirs inspired by the mythology and sanctity of India’s revered rivers. Each drink is served with a scroll narrating its legend, accompanied by soft temple bells and flute melodies for a truly immersive experience.

For a limited period from 3rd February to 3rd March 2025, Pilibhit House invites guests to partake in this once-in-a-lifetime culinary and cultural journey, where history, mythology, and hospitality seamlessly intertwine.
