RAILWAY : REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR NON-INTERLOCKING WORK OVER NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY

KOLKATA, 26 OCTOBER 2023:

Due to pre non-interlocking/non-interlocking work at Bhatni station in connection with patch doubling work between Aunrihar & Bhatni stations, commissioning of new Peokol station and bypass line between Bhatni & Peokol stations of Varanasi Division over North Eastern Railway from 27.10.2023 to 8.11.2023, following trains will be regulated as under:-

*DIVERSION:*

• 15048 Gorakhpur – Kolkata Poorvanchal Express (journey commencing on 30.10.2023, 5.11.2023, 6.11.2023 & 7.11.2023) & 13019 Howrah – Kathgodam Bagh Express (journey commencing on 6.11.2023) will be diverted via Gorakhpur – Kaptanganj – Thawe – Sivan instead of its existing route Gorakhpur – Bhatni – Sivan.
• 15050 Gorakhpur – Kolkata Poorvanchal Express (journey commencing on 1.11.2023, 4.11.2023 & 8.11.2023) will be diverted via Gorakhpur – Kaptanganj – Sivan – Chhapra instead of its existing route Gorakhpur – Bhatni – Mau – Indara – Ballia – Chhapra.
• 15049 Kolkata – Gorakhpur Poorvanchal Express (journey commencing on 5.11.2023) will be diverted via Chhapra – Sivan – Kaptanganj – Gorakhpur instead of its existing route Chhapra – Ballia – Bhatni – Gorakhpur.

Moreover, 15027 Hatia – Gorakhpur Maurya Express (journey commencing on 27.10.2023), 15027 Hatia – Gorakhpur Maurya Express (journey commencing on 28.10.2023, 30.10.2023, 3.11.2023 to 7.11.2023), 13020 Kathgodam – Howrah Bagh Express (journey commencing on 27.10.2023 & 1.11.2023) and 15048 Gorakhpur – Kolkata Poorvanchal Express (journey commencing on 3.11.2023) will be rescheduled by 120 minutes, 60 minutes, 60 minutes & 90 minutes respectively.
