RAILWAYS: REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR NI WORK OVER NORTH EASTERN

KOLKATA, 8 JANUARY 2024:

Due to extension of non-interlocking work in connection with Chhapra Yard remodeling work and doubling with electrification work in between Chhapra & Gautamsthan Railway station and 3rd line work between Chhapra & Chhapra Kachery in Varanasi Division over North Eastern Railway from 09.01.2024 to 14.01.2024, following arrangements in train running will be made:-

CANCELLATION:

15028 Gorakhpur – Hatia Express (journey commencing on 09.01.2024 to 14.01.2024)

15027 Hatia – Gorakhpur Express (journey commencing on 10.01.2024 to 15.01.2024)

13105 Sealdah – Ballia Express (journey commencing on 09.01.2024 to 14.01.2024)

13106 Ballia – Sealdah Express (journey commencing on 10.01.2024 to 15.01.2024)

DIVERSION:

18181 Tatanagar – Thawe (journey commencing on 08.01.2024, 09.01.2024, 11.01.2024 & 12.01.2024) & 18182 Thawe – Tatanagar Express (journey commencing on 10.01.2024, 11.01.2024, 13.01.2024, 14.01.2024) will be diverted via Thawe-Masrakh-Khairah-Chhapra Gramin instead of its existing route Thawe Jn-Siwan Jn-Chhapra-Chhapra Gramin.

13019 Howrah – Kathgodam Bagh Express (journey commencing on 08.01.2024 to 13.01.2024) will be diverted via Chhapra Gramin-Khairah- Thawe-Siwan-Gorakhpur instead of Muzaffarpur-Chhapra Gramin-Gorakhpur.

15050 Gorakhpur – Kolkata Express (journey commencing on 13.01.2024) will be diverted via Gorakhpur-Paniya Hawa-Nakarkatiganj-Muzaffarpur instead of Gorakhpur Jn. – Bhatni-Mau-Ballia-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur.

13138 Azamgarh – Kolkata Express (journey commencing on 09.01.2024) will be diverted via Mau-Bhatni-Chhapra instead of Mau-Rasra-Ballia-Chhapra

Moreover, 15050 Gorakhpur- Kolkata Express (journey commencing on 10.01.2024) will be rescheduled by 60 minutes from Gorakhpur and will be diverted via Gorakhpur Jn.-Chhapra-Siwan.

DIVERSION OF ASANSOL-GONDA-ASANSOL WEEKLY EXPRESS:

Due to pre non-interlocking/non-interlocking work in connection with doubling work at Ayodhya Dham Jn. – Ayodhya Cantt. Jn. – Salarpur section in Lucknow Division over Northern Railway from 09.01.2024 to 13.01.2024, 13509 Asansol – Gonda Weekly Express (journey commencing on 09.01.2024) 13510 Gonda – Asansol Weekly Express (journey commencing on 10.01.2024) will be diverted via Mau-Gorakhpur Jn.-Gonda.
