One-of-a-kind Safety Park exhibiting safety related appliances and practices adapted to undertake critical jobs in integrated steel plants, was inaugurated by Mr. B.P. Singh, Director I/c (ISP & DSP) at Iisco Steel Plant (ISP) in the presence of Mr. Shibasis Basu, ED(W), Mr. Gautam Bhatia, CGM I/c (P&A), Mr. Apurba Dutta, CGM(Safety & Environment) and other senior officials of ISP today near Neelkanth Temple in the steel city of Burnpur.
A first of its kind all across SAIL Units in the country ,  the Safety Park has been set up at Safety Training Centre of ISP by the Safety Engineering Department and  Heavy Maintenance Mechanical Department jointly with a purpose to enhance safety awareness and boost the safety culture among Employees as well as Contract Workers of ISP, Burnpur.
The Safety Park depicts safety practices/appliances to be followed/used during critical jobs done at ISP.
The basic aim is to make Employees and Contract Workers aware of use of various safety appliances and its correct uses as well as various safety precautions to be followed during many critical jobs.
