AWARD: TESSITORI PRAGYA SAMMAN WILL BE PRESENTED TO EXPATRIATE RAJASTHANI SUSHIL OJHA, SANJAY BINNANI AND SMT. PRAMILA SHAH BY PRAGYALAY SANSTHAN BIKANER

Tassitori Pragya-Samman is presented every year by Prajnalay Sansthan and Mrs. Kamala Devi-Lakshminarayan Ranga Trust in the memory of Rajasthani pioneer, great Italian scholar Dr. Luigi Pio Tessitori to expatriate Rajasthani talents dedicated to Rajasthani language, literature and culture.

Senior Rajasthani litterateur and one of the organizers,  Kamal Ranga has said that for this  prestigious award, talents are selected especially for Rajasthani language, literature and culture from Bengal, an important cultural land of the country. The talents are selected in Kolkata by the coordinator of the institution, senior cultural worker Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo and co-coordinator social worker Rajkumar Vyas ‘Kaku’.

Kamal Ranga said that after the selection of the coordinator and co-coordinator of the selection committee respectively ,  Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo and  Rajkumar Vyas, Dr. Tessitori Bhasha Pragya-Samman will be presented to Sushil Ojha, a strong supporter of Rajasthani recognition and a renowned social worker of the country, National President of Vipra Foundation, who has done significant work in the field of language among the migrant Rajasthani talents for the year 2024.

Kamal Ranga  further said that Sanjay Binnani, a personality dedicated to the field of literature editing and journalism for many decades in the field of literature, will be awarded the ‘Dr. Tessitori Sahitya Pragya-Samman’ for the year 2024 in the field of literature.

In the same sequence, the ‘Dr. Tessitori Sanskriti Pragya-Samman’ for the year 2024 will be awarded to Mrs. Pramila Shah, a migrant female cultural worker who has given important work and services in the field of culture. The Kolkata representative of the organization and cultural activist Ramesh Jajda ‘Tikki’ said that Dr. Tessitori’s rich tradition of honoring expatriate Rajasthani talents in the field of language, literature and culture has a very positive discussion in Bengal and especially in Kolkata.

Ramesh Jajda further said that the felicitation ceremony of the three expatriate Rajasthani talents will be held under the supervision of Kolkata’s coordinator and co-coordinator Mr.  Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo  and Raj Kumar Vyas.
