The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) has successfully concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Financial Year 2025–26, alongside electing its new leadership with Tejbir Singh Anand as new President, Paras Loomba as new Secretary and Executive Committee for the 2026–28 term.
The AGM served as a vital platform for institutional review, accountability, and charting the collective direction of India’s booming adventure tourism sector. The proceedings included the presentation of the Annual Report for FY 2025–26, the adoption of audited financial statements, and the formal appointment of the Statutory Auditor for FY 2026–27.

Presenting the report, ATOAI Vice President Mrs. Arshdeep Anand highlighted the association’s ongoing commitment to building a safer, more sustainable, and highly responsible adventure tourism ecosystem in India. Over the past year, the association has aggressively driven capacity building, training, and professional standards, while deepening its advocacy and collaboration with government institutions and key tourism authorities.
The presentation underscored a year of robust progress, focused heavily on creating awareness around sustainable tourism and raising operational standards across the board. Members at the meet reaffirmed that a united industry voice remains critical as India’s adventure tourism market enters a phase of exponential growth and massive opportunity.

Following the conclusion of the AGM, elections for the 2026–28 term were held under the supervision of the appointed Returning Officer, Mr. Rajeev Kohli, paving the way for a fresh leadership team to steer the association forward.

For more than three decades, ATOAI has served as the apex national body unifying adventure tour operators and travel professionals. The association’s mandate focuses on boosting operational standards, establishing robust safety regulations, advocating for eco-sensitive sustainability, and maintaining proactive policy engagement with central and state government bodies.
