Café Akasa, the onboard meal service of Akasa Air has launched the second edition of its Holi special meal with an all-new gourmet menu to celebrate the festival of vibrant hues. The meal comprises of traditional delicacies featuring Dahi Bhalla served with Tikona Namkeen, accompanied with Rabdi Malpua and a beverage of choice. The offering is available throughout March 2024, across the Akasa Air network and can be conveniently prebooked on Akasa Air’s website or mobile app.
The inflight Holi meal is curated to capture the essence of the festival which not only represents the spirit of togetherness but also celebrates the arrival of spring. The launch of the meal is in line with Akasa Air’s constant endeavour to commemorate major festivals, celebrate the rich culinary heritage of the country and enable its passengers to create everlasting memories in the sky.
Since the launch of operations in August 2022, Akasa Air has introduced specially curated monthly meal options that are inspired by regional specialities associated with celebrations during popular festivals and special occasions like Makar Sankranti, Holi, Eid al-Fitr, Mother’s Day, International Yoga Day, Monsoon season, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day among others. The airline also offers a pre-selection of cakes on its regular menu for flyers who want to celebrate the birthdays of their loved ones in the skies.
