Bihar Government Tourism Minister Kedar Prasad Gupta today chaired a review meeting in his office chamber regarding various developmental and under-construction projects being executed by the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation. The meeting was attended by the Corporation’s Managing Director Shri Nand Kishore, General Manager Shri Chandan Chauhan, all executive officers, engineers, and other concerned officials.

During the review, Minister Shri Gupta directed that the progress of all projects be accelerated and that the works be completed within the prescribed timelines. He stated that the government is giving the highest priority to the development of tourism infrastructure in the state and that all works should be carried out in a quality-oriented and transparent manner.

Minister Shri Gupta instructed officials that any compromise in the quality of construction work would not be tolerated. He directed them to ensure regular monitoring of projects and to complete the works on time in accordance with the prescribed standards.

He clearly stated that strict action would be taken against the concerned agency and contractor if any irregularity, negligence, or discrepancy is found in any project. If required, a First Information Report (FIR) will be lodged and the guilty contractors will also be blacklisted.

During the meeting, a detailed review of the current status and progress of various projects was conducted, and all officials were directed to complete tourism development-related works promptly, with quality, and within the stipulated timeframe.
