DEHRADUN 26 APRIL 2024:

I’m sharing a Verse from Hindu God Lord Krishna’s Discourse in Gita. It inspired me. Hope it helps you all too.

“Be fearless and pure; never waver in your determination or your dedication to the spiritual life.

Give freely. Be self-controlled, sincere, truthful, loving, and full of the desire to serve…

Learn to be detached and to take joy in renunciation.

Do not get angry or harm any living creature, but be compassionate and gentle;

Show good will to all. Cultivate vigour, patience, will, purity;

Avoid malice and pride. Then, you will achieve your destiny”…!

Jai Shree Krishna…!

Mayapur is a city situated on the banks of the Ganges River, at the point of its convergence with the Jalangi, near Nabadwip, West Bengal, India, and 130 km North of Kolkata  – Bengal – India. It is the headquarters of ISKCON considered a holy place by a number of other traditions within Hinduism, regarded as a special incarnation of Krishna in the mood of Radha. It is visited by over a million pilgrims annually. The main temple is still under construction and would be completed by 2022.

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), otherwise known as the Hare Krishna movement, includes five hundred major centres, temples and rural communities, nearly one hundred affiliated vegetarian restaurants, thousands of namahattas or local meeting groups, a wide variety of community projects, and millions of congregational members worldwide. Although less than fifty years on the global stage, ISKCON has expanded widely since its founding by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhupāda in New York City in 1966.
