RAILWAY : ADDITIONAL STOPPAGE OF RANCHI – BHAGALPUR – RANCHI VANANCHAL EXPRESS & DIGHA – MALDA TOWN – DIGHA EXPRESS AT SIURI

KOLKATA, 5 OCTOBER  2023:

To fulfil long cherished demand of the people of Siuri and Birbhum, Railway has planned for providing additional stoppage of 13403/13404 Ranchi – Bhagalpur – Ranchi Vananchal Express (journey commencing on and from 06.10.2023) and 13417/13418 Digha – Malda Town – Digha Express (journey commencing on and from 12.10.2023) at Siuri station.

13403 Ranchi – Bhagalpur Vananchal Express & 13404 Bhagalpur – Ranchi Vananchal Express will arrive Siuri station at 02:30 hrs & 00:53 hrs. respectively.  13418 Malda Town – Digha Express & 13417 Digha – Malda Town Express will arrive Siuri station at 11:22 hrs. & 10:12 hrs. respectively.

Above two trains will stop at Siuri station for 2 (two) minutes in both directions.

EASTERN RAILWAY TO RUN PUJA  SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN HOWRAH & RAXAUL:

To clear the extra rush of passengers during ensuing puja festival-2023l, Eastern Railway has decided to run one puja special train between Howrah & Raxaul.

03043 Howrah – Raxaul Puja Special will leave Howrah at 23:00 hrs. on every Saturday between 21.10.2023 & 18.11.2023 (05 trips) to reach Raxaul at 14:15 hrs. on the next day. Asansol arrival time of this train will be at 02.37 hrs. on the next day.

03044 Raxaul – Howrah Puja Special will leave Raxaul at 16:55 hrs. on every Sunday between 22.10.2023 & 19.11.2023 (05 trips) to reach Howrah at 08:30 hrs. on the next day. Asansol arrival time of this train will be at 04.40 hrs. on the next day.

The train will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur & Jasidih stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction enroute in both directions.

The train will have general second class, sleeper class and air-conditioned accommodation.
