Railway is thrilled to announce special treat for passengers during the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja, the most significant festival in Bengal. In a bid to fecilitate travel & ensure the utmost convenience for commuters and to clear anticipated rush of passengers during Durga Puja, Eastern Railway’s Asansol Division has unveiled plans to operate 4 additional services of MEMU Special trains on daily basis between Andal and Siuri and Asansol & Barddhaman from 09.10.2024 to 12.10.2024.
Andal – Siuri MEMU Puja Special Passenger will leave Andal at 13:00 hrs. to reach Siuri at 14:20 hrs. on the same day and Siuri – Andal Puja Special Passenger will leave Siuri at 15:30 hrs. to reach Andal at 16:50 hrs. on the same day. The train will stop at Kajoragram, Siduli, Ukhra, Pandabeshwar, Bhimgara, Panchra, Dubrajpur, Chinpai and Kachujor station enroute in both the directions.
Asansol – Barddhaman MEMU Puja Special Passenger will leave Asansol at 15:00 hrs. to reach Barddhaman at 17:00 hrs. on the same day and Barddhaman – Asansol MEMU Puja Special Passenger will leave Barddhaman at 21:55 hrs. to reach Asansol at 23:55 hrs. on the same day. The train will stop at Kalipahari, Raniganj, Andal, Waria, Durgapur, RaJbandh, Panagarh, Mankar, Paraj, Galsi, Khana and Talit station enroute in both the directions.
ADDITIONAL STOPPAGE OF TWO EXPRESS TRAINS AT DIFFERENT STATIONS:
For the convenience of commuters, Railway has decided to provide additional stoppage of 04311/04312 Howrah – Haridwar – Howrah Express Special and 04681/04682 Kolkata – Jammu Tawi – Kolkata Express Special at Shahjehanpur, Hardoi & Lucknow stations enroute.
