RAILWAY : 56 SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS IN JUST 10 DAYS FROM EASTERN RAILWAY

Fifty Six (56) Summer Special Trains have been originated from Eastern Railway in first 10 days of the current month. As temperatures soar, Eastern Railway has stepped up its efforts to ensure comfortable travel experiences for passengers across its network. Recognizing the importance of providing adequate accommodation and facilities during the summer months, Eastern Railway has announced the operation of an increased number of summer special trains.

Throughout the first ten days of May 2024, Eastern Railway has maintained an average of about six summer special trains per day, aimed at catering to the needs of travel enthusiasts and passengers requiring emergency travel arrangements. A total of 56 summer special trains have been originated from Eastern Railway stations during this period, connecting various popular tourist destinations across the country.

The summer special trains cover a diverse range of routes, offering convenient travel options for passengers. These include but are not limited to:

Malda Town – Bengaluru, Asansol – CSMT Mumbai, Bhagalpur – Paldhi, Bhagalpur – Dahod, Howrah – New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town – Lal Kuan, Malda Town – Khatipura, Bhagalpur – Ratlam, Howrah – Raxaul, Kolkata – Jammu Tawi, Kolkata – Patna, Sealdah – Lucknow, Bhagalpur – New Delhi, Malda Town – Digha, Sealdah – Gorakhpur, Malda Town – New Delhi, Howrah – Indore, Kolkata – Dibrugarh, Kolkata – Udaipur, Sealdah – Vadodara, Kolkata – Patna, Sealdah – Jagi Road, Asansol – Anand Vihar Terminal, Howrah – Lal Kuan, Howrah – Dehradun, Kolkata – Jayanagar.
