RAILWAY : MORE SPECIAL TRAINS ANNOUNCED BY EASTERN RAILWAYS FOR SHRAVANI MELA

The Shravani Mela at Deoghar is an integrated part of India’s cultural and religious calendar attracting numerous devotees who come to seek the blessing of Lord Shiva and immerse themselves in the spirit of devotion and unity.

The Mela takes place during the auspicious month of Shravan. Devotees from various parts of India rush to Deoghar to worship Lord Shiva. During the Shravani Mela, Jasidih station witnesses a significant influx of devotees from different corners of the country who come to participate in the festivities and religious rituals.

Eastern Railway makes special arrangements and additional train services to accommodate the rush of passengers during this holy period. To clear the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing Shravani Mela, 07 MEMU special trains will run from 22.07.2024 to 19.08.2024.

• 03146 Jasidih – Dumka MEMU Special will leave Jasidih at 11:00 hrs. to reach Dumka at 12:15 hrs. and 03145 Dumka – Jasidih MEMU Special will leave Dumka at 12:55 hrs. to reach Jasidih at 14:05 hrs.
• 03148 Jasidih – Dumka MEMU Special will leave Jasidih at 18:05 hrs. to reach Dumka at 19:50 hrs. and 03147 Dumka – Jasidih MEMU Special will leave Dumka at 20:00 hrs. to reach Jasidih at 21:10 hrs.
• 03550 Jasidih – Godda MEMU Special will leave Jasidih at 14:15 hrs. to reach Godda at 15:50 hrs. and 03549 Godda – Jasidih MEMU Special will leave Godda at 16:20 hrs. to reach Jasidih at 17:55 hrs.
• 03507 Deoghar – Jasidih  MEMU Special will leave Deoghar at 10:00 hrs. to reach Jasidih  at 10:10 hrs. and 03508 Jasidih- Deoghar MEMU Special will leave Jasidih at 21:50 hrs. to reach Deoghar at 22:00 hrs.

Moreover, 3 pairs additional MEMU Special will run  between Jasidih & Baidyanathdham. 03501/03503/03505 Jasidih – Baidyanathdham  MEMU special  will leave Jasidih at 11:25 hrs., 13:35 hrs. and 21:25 hrs.  to reach Baidyanathdham at 11:45 hrs., 13:55 hrs. and 21:45 hrs., respectively and 03502/03504/03506 Baidyanathdham – Jasidih MEMU Special will leave Baidyanathdham at 11:55 hrs., 14:05 hrs. and 22:00 hrs. to reach Jasidih at 12:15 hrs. 14:25 hrs. and 22:20 hrs respectively.

All the above trains will stop at all stations enroute in both directions.
