KOLKATA, 19 AUGUST 2023:
For the convenience of commuters, it has been decided by Indian Railway to provide additional stoppage of 12333/12334 Howrah – Prayagraj – Howrah Rambag Vibhuti Express and 22643/22644 Ernakulam – Patna – Ernakulam Bi-weekly Express at Jamtara station on an experimental basis.
New stoppage of the above two trains was introduced by Mr.i Sunil Soren,M.P, Lok Sabha in presence of Dr. Irfan Ansari MLA of Jharkhand on 18.08.2023 at Jamtara Station. In his speech Mr. Soren, MP has given thanks to Prime Minister and Railway Minister for new stoppage of above trains in Jamtara Station.
Mr.Irfan Ansari, Hon’ble MLA has delivered his speech. Mr. Chetna Nand Singh, Divisional Railway Manager/Asansol was also present in this function.
The stoppage of above trains at Jamtara will immensely help the traders, farmers, artisans and common people which will foster socio-economic development of Jamtara and adjacent area of Jharkhand.
12333 Howrah – Prayagraj Rambag Vibhuti Express (journey commencing on and from 18.08.2023) & 12334 Prayagraj – Howrah Vibhuti Express (journey commencing on and from 17.08.2023) will arrive Jamtara at 23:15 hrs & 03:31 hrs respectively. The train will stop at Jamtara station for 2 minutes in both directions.
22643 Ernakulam Jn. – Patna Bi-weekly Express (journey commencing on and from 15.08.2023) & 22644 Patna – Ernakulam Jn. Bi-weekly Express (journey commencing on and from 17.08.2023) will arrive Jamtara at 13:56 hrs & 19:10 hrs respectively. The train will stop at Jamtara station for 2 minutes in both directions.
