KOLKATA, 14 APRIL 2024:
Railway has decided to run a special train between Howrah and Hisar to alleviate the extra rush of passengers and ensure smooth and convenient travel.
03007 Howrah – Hisar Special will leave Howrah at 23:00 hrs on 15.04.2024 (01 trip) to reach Hisar at 14:50 hrs on the 3rd day and 03008 Hisar – Howrah Special will leave Hisar at 22:00 hrs on 19.04.2024 (01 trip) to reach Howrah at 19:30 hrs on the 3rd day. The special train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur & Jasidih stations within Asansol Division of Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute.
The special train will have Sleeper Class & Air-conditioned accommodations. By introducing this special train, a large number of berths will be generated by Eastern Railway, providing much needed relief to surge in passenger numbers during this season. The booking of 03007 Howrah – Hisar special special is available through PRS & internet.
REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR YARD REMODELING WORK OVER SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY:
Due to 3 days Pre Non-interlocking Work from 24.04.2024 to 26.04.2024 & 3 days Non-Interlocking work from 27.04.2024 to 29.04.2024 in connection with Yard Remodelling at Piardoba Station in Adra – Kharagpur Section of Adra Division over South Eastern Railway, has been planned. Consequently, the following arrangements have been made in train running :
Cancellation:
• 22330/22329 Asansol – Haldia – Asansol Express (Journey commencing on 27.04.2024 & 29.04.2024)
- 13506/13505 Asansol – Digha – Asansol Express (Journey commencing on 28.04.2024)
Diversion:
• 22611 MGR Chennai Central – New Jalpaiguri Superfast ( JCO on 24.04.2024 ) will be diverted via Hijli – Kharagpur – Bhatta Naagar instead of its actual route.
Rescheduling:
22329 Haldia – Asansol Express (Journey commencing on 26.04.2024) will be rescheduled by 3 hours from Haldia.
18420 Jaynagar – Puri Weekly Express ( Journey commencing on 27.04.2024 ) will be rescheduled by 2 hours from Jaynagar.
